[All] The stage that unfolded at this handball stadium was truly fantastic.
This performance marked the start of NCT WISH's first Asia tour.
It was an event that was really highly anticipated by fans. I was really looking forward to it!!!
This marks the first step in a tour that will start in Seoul and continue to other Asian cities such as Macau, Manila, and Hong Kong.
The stage performance itself felt like it was bursting with NCT WISH's signature energy. This unit is made up of six members, Xion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya, and their stage presence was so great that it was hard to believe that they had only debuted for a short time. The concert lasted for three days, and fans were saying that they showed a different charm each day. The first day (March 21) started with a stronger intro to get the audience hooked right away, while the second day (March 22) and third day (March 23) seemed to have gone with a setlist that mixed in some emotional songs to shake the fans' hearts ㅠㅠ The reviews are really amazing
The signature song "Wish" was of course an unmissable highlight, and the group dance in this song was really clean and powerful. In particular, the choreography captured the mood of the song well, giving the feeling of expressing a hopeful message with their bodies. And "Miracle", which was released in January 2025, was performed live for the first time in this concert, which was even more meaningful because it was a song included in SM's 30th anniversary album. The "Miracle" stage stood out with its warmer and more dreamy production, and there were many reviews saying that fans were touched because the lighting and stage effects captured the emotion of the song well!!!
What I felt while watching the performance was that even though NCT WISH is a new unit, they are not at all intimidated on stage. When Riku and Yushi mainly led the dance from the center, you could see how the members worked perfectly together, and even the youngest member Sakuya definitely brought out the best in his part, showing off a cute yet professional charm. In the vocal parts, it was impressive to see Zion and Jaehee stably perform the live and try to communicate with the audience. I also liked the sense of lightening the mood by occasionally waving to fans or making eye contact.
It seemed like they put a lot of thought into the stage direction. For example, they used effects like fireworks and paper flowers appropriately to create different moods for each song, and the images on the large screen matched the choreography well, making it visually immersive. Especially in bright and exciting songs like "Poppop," the energy was so great that the audience could jump around along with them, while in songs like "Steady," the members' delicate movements stood out under more calm lighting.
Honestly, I think this performance was a stage that showed how much bigger NCT WISH can become in the future.
It was a really great stage!! ㅠㅠ
