NCT's Doyoung revealed the story of how he took cold medicine and went to the emergency room.

On the MBC show 'I Live Alone' that aired on the 6th, Doyoung was shown going to the hospital for an allergy test and a health checkup.

Doyoung said, "I was prescribed antibiotics when I was sick, but I had an allergic reaction that day and went to the emergency room. That's why I thought I should get an allergy test."

He continued, “Actually, I suffered from a cold until recently. I was prescribed cold medicine and took it, but my throat suddenly started to swell, I had trouble breathing, and my chest felt tight. It wasn’t just for a short while, but it got worse and I went to the emergency room. They told me it was probably an antibiotic allergy.”

Hearing this, SHINee member Key revealed, "I also took penicillin-based medicine for contact dermatitis, but my throat suddenly started to swell. I never had anything like that in my life, but it started happening when I was in my 20s or 30s."

Park Na-rae also sympathized with Do-young and Key, saying, “I’m not allergic to antibiotics, but I have a high body temperature and I had a sun allergy two years ago,” and “It’s because my immune system is low.”

Doyoung's allergy test results showed no major problems. The doctor explained, "When the body's immune system is low, even things that were fine in normal times can cause allergic reactions."
