Group NCT member Taeil (real name Moon Taeil) has been accused of a sexual crime and will be leaving the team.
SM Entertainment stated on the 28th, "We have recently confirmed that Taeyong was indicted in a criminal case related to sexual assault."
He continued, "While looking into the facts of this case, I realized that the matter was very serious and decided that I could no longer continue team activities. After discussing it with Taeil, I decided to leave the team."
Additionally, they said, "Taeil is currently cooperating faithfully with the police investigation, and we will provide additional information depending on the progress of the investigation."
