According to YTN's coverage today (the 15th), the new drama 'I Believe in You' produced by production company Mays Entertainment halted filming in June due to investment issues. This is only 3 months after completing the pre-production stage and cranking in in April.

This drama is a black comedy that deals with the growth of the weak against the strong, and Jae-hyeon was cast as the male lead and was expected to make his drama debut. Along with Jae-hyeon, many other actors were cast, including Lee Chae-min, Kim Sun-young, and Park Sung-woong.

It was confirmed that the investment issue was holding them back. They had planned to proceed with filming first and then finalize a contract with the investment company, but the company that had promised to invest changed its position, and they were unable to cover the filming costs, so they had to stop filming that was in progress.

The production company has been trying to attract investors to resume filming, but has not been able to finalize a contract with a new investor even after five months of filming being suspended. The problem is that the possibility of legal disputes has increased as they are unable to pay the actors’ guarantees and staff wages.

A production company official told YTN, "We are trying to sort out the problem through a new investor, and we will take responsibility for the unpaid actor guarantee and staff wages and pay them to the end," expressing their efforts to resolve the issue.
