Doyoung will meet the audience in the musical 'The Man Who Laughs', which is based on the novel of the same name by French author Victor Hugo, playing the role of Gwynplaine, a man with the face of a terrifying monster but who retains his innocence.

In particular, in this work, Doyoung is expected to express the extreme situation of a character who has an appearance that makes people laugh on the outside, but whose life is full of pain and tragedy, with his unique lyrical sensibility and solid singing ability.

Ahead of his first performance, Doyoung said, "I will meet the audience as Gwynplaine for the moment I stand on stage," and "I am very nervous, but I will work hard to show you the performance I prepared with the great staff and actors, so please show lots of interest."
