[All] NCT Wish, Q&A on their 1st anniversary of debut!!

-It's your first debut anniversary. How do you feel?

△“It’s hard to believe that a year has already passed. Time has flown by so quickly. Based on last year’s experience, I’m really looking forward to having more fun this year and giving you better music.” (Zion)

△“I sincerely thank all the Czennies (fandom nickname) who have loved us for a year and the many people who have helped us along the way. I want to make many fun and happy memories with the members and Czennies in the future. I will work even harder in 2025!” (Riku)

△“I’m so happy and excited to celebrate our 1st anniversary. I’m looking forward to the new things we’ll be creating with the members and Season 1 in the future. I’ll be healthy and happy this year too!” (Yoo Woo Si)

△“It was a year of learning a lot and experiencing new things. I will continue to learn more and work hard to grow into an artist who can present diverse music!” (Jaehee)

-If you had to pick the most memorable activity or moment since your debut, when would it be?

△“I remember the moment when we first performed on a music show with our debut song ‘WISH.’ I still vividly remember the atmosphere in the waiting room at dawn, filled with tension and excitement as we prepared for the pre-recording.” (Zion)

△“I also remember the ‘Wish’ music show promotions. It was my first time on a music show, so everything was new and exciting, but I think those moments were fun and special.” (Sakuya)

-What do you feel you have grown the most in over the past year, either as a team or individually?

△“It’s really meaningful because the things I can show on stage are becoming more diverse and my friendship with the members is getting deeper. Personally, I feel like I’m accepting direction faster every time I record, and I’m proud to see myself growing that much (laughs)” (Jaehee)

- Even with refreshing music, you're getting reviews saying, "NCT is NCT" with your energetic performances, and at the same time, you're also getting reviews saying that you're a team that's continuing SM's pure lineage with your pure and dreamy emotions. You're building a unique team color. Is there a secret to this? And how do you feel when you hear compliments like this?

△“I think NCT Wish’s sparkling emotions shine even brighter when the six members, each with their own unique personalities, come together as one. And I think the team’s color becomes clearer because many staff members help us highlight our charms. More than anything, we try to show our natural selves on stage and in our daily lives, and I think this is an important factor in creating NCT Wish’s own color. Whenever I hear compliments like this, I feel grateful because it feels like our own color is slowly taking hold even though it’s only been a year since our debut. I sincerely thank Czennies for loving us just the way we are.” (Jaehee)

- You've been getting a lot of attention for your skillful use of shorts and challenges, to the point where you've been given the nickname 'Genji Icon'. Do you have any secrets for planning lively content and filming it in a fun way?

△“We look for videos that suit us well, and we also give our opinions on content that we want to try. Above all, we really enjoy the moment of filming and are happy, so I think that energy is naturally captured in the videos. I think that’s why our fans feel our fun atmosphere and like it!” (Yoo Woo-shi)

△“When filming, rather than feeling pressured to ‘do well,’ I try to enjoy it comfortably as if I were hanging out with friends. That’s how our natural vibe came to be, and I think a lot of people like that.” (Sakuya)

- In 2024, you won the title of 'Best Rookie'. What other goals does NCT Wish want to achieve in 2025?

△“This year, I want to let many people hear NCT Wish’s beautiful emotions through more complete music and activities. We will also do our best to make our unique colors known to more people and make this a year where more people can be with NCT Wish!” (Zion)

△“I want to receive more love in 2025 with good music and activities. But more than anything, what I wish for is to create many happy moments with the members and share precious times with Czennies. I would be really grateful if there were more moments like that.” (Riku)

△“I want to grow more and hold many more great concerts. My biggest goal for this year is to further improve my skills, show the best stage to Season 1, and create a performance that I won’t regret when it’s over.” (Ryo)

-Please say a word to Season 3 who have been sending you their unchanging love and support.

△“Thanks to CZN, we can freely spread our dreams and feel happy every time we stand on stage. I sincerely thank you for always sending us your endless support. This year, we will come back with a more mature image and a cool and pretty album and stage filled with NCT Wish’s unique emotions, so please look forward to it. I love you.” (Zion)
