According to the music industry on the 14th, Minzy, Daniel , hani , Haerin , Hyein The five members did not submit their appeals by midnight on the same day, which was the deadline for appeals.

Previously, on the 30th of last month, the 41st Civil Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Jeong Hoe-il) ruled in a lawsuit filed by Adore against five members of New Jeans to confirm the validity of their exclusive contracts, stating that “the exclusive contract signed between Adore and New Jeans on April 21, 2022 is valid.”

In response, New Jeans immediately announced their intention to "appeal" through their legal representative, but all five members declared their intention to return to Adore on the 12th. The appeal deadline was midnight on the 13th, and with New Jeans ultimately deciding not to file an appeal, the "lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract" was confirmed as Adore's victory.

The previous day, Adore's side said, "We are coordinating individual meeting schedules with the members," and "We will do our best to ensure smooth discussions," showing a strong will to resume full group activities.

Last November, New Jeans announced the termination of their contract, citing Adore's breach of contract and other reasons, and announced plans for independent activities. However, in December, Adore filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of their exclusive contract, claiming that New Jeans had "unilaterally terminated the contract," and requested an injunction to prevent the members' independent activities until the main case is decided.

The court accepted Adore's request for an injunction, leaving New Jeans with a one-year hiatus.
