NewJeans will be the first K-pop girl group to perform a special stage at Geunjeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The '2024 Korea on Stage-New Generation' (hereafter referred to as 'Korea on Stage'), hosted by the National Heritage Administration and organized by the National Heritage Promotion Agency and KBS Korea, will be held on the 21st at a special stage in front of Heungnyemun Gate in Gyeongbokgung Palace. Recently, New Jeans completed pre-filming of the special stage at Geunjeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Geunjeongjeon is a palace building where important national ceremonies were held during the Joseon Dynasty, and is currently an important national heritage site designated as a national treasure. It is rare for a public performance to be held in the Geunjeongjeon area, even after Gyeongbokgung Palace was opened in 1954, and the National Heritage Administration has attracted attention by opening Geunjeongjeon specifically for the stage of New Jeans, leading domestic K-pop.

New Jeans, the first K-pop girl group to perform a special stage at Geunjeongjeon, will present an even more special 'Cool With You' stage on this day.

In particular, the styling that highlights Korean beauty, such as the hanbok costumes that were specially made for this stage, the dansam jeogori, the sran chima, and the daeran chima, which are reinterpreted designs, the beoseon-style shoes, and the goddess-like hair ornaments, are the points of interest. In addition, the fantastic performance that lights up the night scenery of Geunjeongjeon is expected to simultaneously convey the greatness of national heritage and the status of K-pop.
