NewJeans is on the rise, climbing the Spotify global charts by a significant margin.
According to the latest chart (dated May 26) released by Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, on the 27th, New Jeans' (Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) double single "How Sweet" and the title song of the same name "How Sweet" rose 57 places from the previous day to 81st place on Spotify's global "Daily Top Songs."
It's a notable advance, amid a flurry of new songs from pop stars including Billie Eilish that have made it onto the chart. In fact, New Jeans' "How Sweet" had the biggest rise among the songs on the chart that day.
New Jeans also showed off their solid popularity by maintaining the top ranks on major domestic music charts such as Melon, Bugs, and Flo with both 'How Sweet' and the track 'Bubble Gum'. The album also sold over 810,000 copies on the first day of its release, giving them the green light to achieve their fourth 'million seller'.
