[All] Bubblegum plagiarism controversy?! Stop using and pay damages”… British band sees it as ‘plagiarism’

The law firm said that it was delivering the document at the request of WISE MUSIC GROUP, the London-based rights holder of the song "Easier Said Than Done" by Shakatak that "Bubble Gum" allegedly plagiarized, and stated, "We have confirmed that the song 'Bubble Gum', which was written and composed by 250, Oscar Bell, Sophie Simmons, and Gigi, recorded by New Jeans, and is currently in use, is violating the copyright by using 'Easier Said Than Done' without permission without the consent of WISE MUSIC GROUP. We demand that immediate measures be taken, including discontinuing the use of 'Bubble Gum'."

In addition, “Please carefully check and understand that it includes contents such as “suspension of use, reporting of profits, change of rights holder, written guarantee, compensation for damages, etc. Please take measures to confirm compliance with or guarantee the requirements within the deadline (7 days) specified in the attached document and notify WISE MUSIC GROUP directly,” and announced legal action.
