This is Our story about HYBE

 

We had already talked to the management, but it felt like there was no communication, so we decided to go live.

 

The ADOR staff may be very surprised by our live performance today because it is something they don't know about. I can't tell you everything in the contract, but I will be as honest as possible.

After our debut at NewJeans, we had enough time to get to know each other personally with CEO Min Hee-jin. At that time, we were young and fearful of adults and society, but CEO Min Hee-jin was different and a relationship of trust was established.

 

We are all aware of the issues that have been going on, but we enjoyed working with the CEO and have been able to work well so far. It is natural for us to want to work with a CEO like this.

 

Even after our debut, there were so many unreasonable things that we couldn't understand. Some time ago, personal records from before debut were released and we were really surprised to see them. I really couldn't understand how a company that was supposed to protect us couldn't manage this information and leaked it. 

 

And there was a feeling of distrust that other data would not be managed either. So, together with the CEO and parents, we requested protection from HYBE, but HYBE ignored it, and in the meantime, the CEO was dismissed. I'm really at a loss as to who to trust and rely on in the future. So, I gained courage because I felt like no one would listen if I didn't say something like this.

 

HANI:

Something like this happened some time ago. I once ran into another idol member and their manager at a make-up place where I often encounter other idol teams, and I heard the manager say 'ignore me' loud enough for me to hear.

 

MINJI:

I was truly shocked to hear Hani's story. How can the manager of one team tell everyone to ignore it? Even though I told the company, they took no action and their team did not even acknowledge their mistake, let alone apologize. The situation is very difficult as there is no one to protect us.

 

HANI:

When I heard that there was nothing they could do because there was no evidence, I thought that the people who could protect us were gone and that they had no intention of protecting us. I instantly felt like a liar. Representative Min Hee-jin fought for us, but the people we have now do not. I am worried and scared about what will happen in the future.

 

Of course I'm worried about our future, but it's scary that the work we've made so far is also under threat. I don't understand how things like this happen when there are people right in front of us who risked their lives and risked their work just as much as we did. At first, I tried to believe and follow the new management's announcements, but the more I went, the bigger the problem became, and the recent incident with director Shin Woo-seok should not have happened. Please respect those who work for us. What you are doing now is absolutely not for us.

 

There were so many things that our common sense did not understand. I'm really doubting whether HYBE is really a company for NewJeans. I hope you all know a little bit about how we felt about performing this live.

 

As I said before, our dream was to make the music we wanted to do with CEO Min Hee-jin, and we always worked hard to achieve that, but now we can't do it, and we can't even execute the plans we made. We were just trying to achieve our dreams. What did we do wrong? A week after the CEO was fired, I can no longer work with the director I have been working with, and I am afraid that I will be separated from other staff members as well. Don't just say you're there for the artists, but make sure we can rely on them and enjoy our work.

 

I want to work with the people around me who helped me grow mentally and gave me vitality, but I cannot understand the current situation where external forces are constantly interfering with us. We can't understand which ones are for us and which ones will help NewJeans grow. I feel sorry and regretful as to why our Bernese fans, who were comforted by us and made happy memories with each other, had to go through something like this and why they had to worry about things that they shouldn't have to do. But in the meantime, I almost lost the works that symbolized our relationship with New Jeans and Bunnies, and I don't want to lose anything else. And I do not want to conform, sympathize, or follow the society that belongs to HYBE.

 

We knew the news that our CEO had been dismissed through an article that day, and we were all shocked. As an artist belonging to HYBE, the company's unilateral notice made me convinced that they do not respect us at all. I heard from the manager that the new CEO would like to say hello to us. The first thing we did when we came to ADOR did not give us a single ounce of trust. You can see that the situations that have happened so far were just words. In the first place, I would like to ask once again how it was for the benefit of NewJeans that HYBE published an article about the CEO's dismissal and portrayed NewJeans negatively to the outside world even though they could not help promote it a week before NewJeans' comeback.

 

For half a year now, unnecessary and tiring stories about NewJeans have been going on and on, and as a person, I feel very uncomfortable. We still have goals we want to achieve together, but the fact that we could lose the work we have done so far, let alone our future in the current situation, makes us feel very helpless. We created this place to ask people to stop these tiring behaviors.

 

From a human perspective, I hope you will stop harassing our CEO Min Hee-jin. Honestly, the CEO is so pitiful and Hive seems like an inhumane company. What can we learn from a company like this?

 

What we want is the original ADOR, where management and production are integrated, with CEO Min Hee-jin as the CEO.

 

We hope Chairman Bang and HYBE make a wise choice to normalize ADOR by the 25th.
