[talk] New Jeans, Hive's Bullying Exposes... "Request for Labor Department Investigation"

Adore

On the 12th, petitioner A filed a petition saying, "We strongly urge that the bullying incident within New Jeans' Hive be investigated and that those involved be severely punished if any illegal activity is discovered."

Person A said, "As a fan who usually supports New Jeans, I couldn't help but express my anger after watching the exposé video yesterday," and "In particular, I judged that the 'suspicion of New Jeans bullying within Hive' needed to uncover the truth, so I requested an investigation to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, which has 'exclusive investigative authority' under the Labor Standards Act through the National Petition for Civil Rights."

All members of New Jeans strongly criticized HYBE through a YouTube live broadcast on the 11th, and stated that they want former CEO Min Hee-jin to return by the 25th.

During this process, he also complained that he had experienced countless unreasonable things since the conflict between former President Min and Hive began.

In particular, member Hani said that she was recently told to "ignore (Hani)" by the manager of another group within the HYBE building. She was standing alone on the 4th floor, the floor where people get their hair and makeup done, when a member of another group passed by and they exchanged greetings. A little while later, as the member and manager of that group were coming out, the manager of that group told them to "ignore her."

In response, Hani told the new CEO of Adore, Kim Joo-young, about this incident, but was told, "There is no evidence, so there is nothing we can do." She said, "I felt like there was no one to protect us."

Regarding this, petitioner A said, "If the bullying revelations by Newzin are true, the company (Hive and Adore) may be violating Article 76-2 (Prohibition of Workplace Bullying) and Article 76-3 (Measures to Take in Case of Workplace Bullying) of the Labor Standards Act." He added, "I strongly urge that this be investigated, and if any illegal activity is discovered, those involved be severely punished."

Internal bullying of New Jeans by Hive men has been exposed in the past.

In particular, the parents of the members of New Jeans revealed in a media interview that Chairman Bang Si-hyuk of Hive did not greet the members of New Jeans several times. When they heard this, they raised an objection with the company, but were told that Chairman Bang may have face recognition disorder, expressing their bewilderment.

Seriously, what on earth did these little kids do wrong?
