As the court dismissed the injunction application filed by former CEO Min Hee-jin, the general producer of the group 'New Jeans', against HYBE for the appointment of ADOR's CEO, attention is focused on the future course of action of former CEO Min.
Previously, Adore dismissed former CEO Min through a board meeting on August 27. The main reason for the dismissal was that the separation of production and management was in line with Adore’s interests and the principles of a multi-label. Adore’s board of directors appointed Kim Joo-young, Hive’s chief human resources officer, as Adore’s CEO.
However, former CEO Min could not accept this and filed an injunction against Hive to reinstate him as CEO of Adore. He demanded that the term of office of CEO specified in the shareholder agreement between him and Hive be guaranteed. Hive countered that the shareholder agreement had already been terminated due to former CEO Min’s fault and that reinstatement as CEO was impossible.
