Representative K-pop artists gathered together to colorfully decorate the stage on the first day of the 1st Korea Grand Music Awards.

The 1st Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) took place on the 16th and 17th at the Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. The first day, which was decorated as Artist Day, was hosted by New Jeans member Hani and actress Nam Ji-hyun.

The group New Jeans, who won the 2024 Grand Artist Award, the highest honor, opened the concert with an 'intro performance' inside a lavender octagonal dome. New Jeans then started with a mysterious atmosphere of 'Right Now' and heated up the atmosphere with a band version of 'Bubble Gum'. New Jeans then moved to the center stage and performed a full performance with their hit songs 'How Sweet' and 'Super Natural' on the rainbow stage that symbolizes them.

Taemin, who won two awards including Best Solo Artist, performed three songs in total: "Heaven," "Sexy in the Air," and "Guilty." When singing "Heaven," Taemin added a special touch by performing a parachute performance, which he had only performed at his solo concerts. In the middle of the performance, he took off his top and presented a passionate performance with a sexy aura, drawing admiration from the audience.
