[소통] New Jeans, NYT's 'Best Song of 2024'

The group New Jeans' "Supernatural" was the only K-pop song released this year to be selected as the best song of the year by the American media outlet The New York Times.

The New York Times (NYT) released its list of '2024 Best Songs' on the 10th, and New Jeans' Japanese debut single 'Supernatural' released in June was the only K-pop song to make the list.

The New York Times' renowned music critic John Caramanica said of "Supernatural," "The most stylistically impressive K-pop group in years has made this tremendous, nostalgic, precise and contemporary song." New Jeans was previously named one of the New York Times' "Best Songs of 2022" for their debut song "Cookie," which was the only K-pop song to make the list back then, and they've been honored with another nod just two years later.
