New Jeans Wins Top 10 in ‘Japan Record Awards’ for 2 Consecutive Years

The group New Jeans, who won the 'Japan Record Award' for two consecutive years, will perform on stage at this year's awards ceremony.

Their agency Adore revealed that New Jeans will be appearing on the '66th Japan Record Awards', which will be broadcast live on the 30th, and will perform their Japanese debut single 'Supernatural'.

At this awards ceremony, New Jeans was selected as the only overseas artist to receive the Excellence Award for their single 'Supernatural'.

The Excellence Award is given to 10 songs released that year that were very popular with the public, and New Jeans has been named as a winner for the second consecutive year, following 'Ditto' last year.

The winner of the 'Excellence Award' will automatically be nominated for the Grand Prize, and the Grand Prize will be announced on the day of the awards ceremony.
