After notifying Adore of the termination of their exclusive contract, New Jeans, who had been refraining from official activities, has decided on a new team name of 'NJZ' and has begun full-fledged independent activities. NJZ is scheduled to perform at 'Complexcon Hong Kong', an international music festival hosted by the American music magazine Complex in March and release a new song.
On the 7th, New Jeans changed their Instagram account name to the new team name 'NJZ Official' and revealed several new profile pictures with the caption, "Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein's new group name NJZ. Please look forward to the surprising journey that will take place with NJZ in 2025!" It is a team name that is not much different from the name 'Jeanz' used when they opened a new Instagram account in December of last year.
