Above all, the reason why the action scenes in 'Good Boy' are realistic is because the actors performed most of the scenes themselves. They don't show their backs in important scenes. They didn't use body doubles.

The camera captures the actor's expressions and movements from the front. In particular, Park Bo-gum's long-take action in Episode 1 is reminiscent of a real fight. It brought catharsis through bare-handed fighting that broke through the numerical disadvantage.
