[talk] A still cut of Wang Sa Nam Ji Hoon from the movie The King and the King has been released.

Cheongnyeongpo, 1457. A village chief who declared himself a place of exile, and a young king who was driven from the throne and exiled. The story history tried to erase. The launch trailer for "The Man Who Lives with the King" is out now! Opening in theaters February 4th.

Set for release on February 4, 2026, "The Man Living with the King" is the first Korean film to focus on the untold story of King Danjong. Danjong, the sixth king of the Joseon Dynasty, ascended to the throne at the age of 12, but was usurped by Grand Prince Suyang and exiled to Cheongnyeongpo, where he died. Historic records show him as a king who lived to the end.

"The Man Living with the King" is garnering much attention with its cast of trusted actors, including Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Mi-do, Park Ji-hwan, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Ahn Jae-hong. Experienced actor Yoo Hae-jin is able to portray the village chief, Eom Heung-do; Park Ji-hoon, a rising star, can portray the young King Lee Hong-wi; Yoo Ji-tae, with his overwhelming charisma, portrays the most powerful man of his time, Han Myeong-hoe; and Jeon Mi-do, with her solid acting skills, plays the court lady Mae-hwa. The perfect match of this irreplaceable cast heightens the drama's immersion.
