Singer Park Ji-hyun graced the cover of the May issue of @star1.

Park Ji-hyun, who has had a hotter time than anyone since coming in second place on TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2'. In an interview conducted after finishing the photo shoot with @star1, she looked back on the two years of running without rest, saying, "I've been busy with concerts and broadcasts."

He, who is currently directly communicating with the audience through the recent nationwide tour 'Showmanship', shared his thoughts on the performance in his hometown Mokpo, saying, "I was even more nervous because I had to sing in front of my fans, family, and friends." He continued, "Concerts themselves are not common in Mokpo, so I really wanted to show them the joy of performing."

As it was his first solo concert, he put a lot of thought into the preparation process. He said, “I focused on creating a stage that was not boring but exciting,” and “I wanted to create a ‘real showdown stage’ that not only fans but also those who are seeing my stage for the first time can enjoy together.” He also added meticulous consideration, such as slightly changing the setlist for each performance.

He continued with an honest confession about his own charm. “I used to think that having a face that is noticeably different on the left and right was a weakness, but now that fans say I’m sexy, I feel like it’s my own charm,” he said with a laugh.

As the chemistry between Park Na-rae and the 'Mokpo siblings' on MBC's 'I Live Alone' became a hot topic, the number of young fans also increased significantly. "My profile has also increased, and the number of fans in their 20s and 30s has increased noticeably. When I was planning the concert setlist, I thought about 'the empathy of young fans'," he said, and he still puts his 'sincerity about trot' first. "When 'Mr. Trot 2' started, senior Jang Yoon-jung said, 'I will choose a person who loves trot,' and I deeply agreed with that. No matter what stage I am on, I try not to lose my heart for trot," he said, showing his unwavering affection.
