[Muan=Newsis] Reporter Park Ki-woong = The South Jeolla Provincial Police Agency announced on the 28th that it produced and distributed a promotional video with Mokpo native trot singer Park Ji-hyun to prevent no-show crimes and establish basic order.

In South Jeolla Province, there were 132 cases of no-show fraud from January to July of this year, with the total damage amounting to 1.8 billion won.

There were many cases where people impersonated military officers or presented forged civil servant ID cards to request payment for goods on their behalf.

Jeonnam Police has produced a promotional video with trot singer Park Ji-hyun to increase the effectiveness of preventing damage from serious crimes targeting local small business owners who are struggling due to the economic downturn.

The video featuring Park Ji-hyun included tips on preventing no-show fraud, such as making sure to check with the relevant organization or office before ordering large quantities of goods, and firmly refusing requests for proxy purchases, as well as encouraging compliance with basic order.
