Pentagon's Hui won the K-POP Male Solo Singer Award at the 'Republic of Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards' for his musicality.

After receiving the award, Hui said, "Many people have worked hard and sacrificed to make the name 'Hui' even cooler. I will work hard with a sense of responsibility in the future. I also sincerely thank Universe (fandom name) for always loving me."

Starting with his first mini-album 'WHU IS ME: Complex' this year, Hui was recognized for his contribution in capturing the hearts of K-pop fans at home and abroad with his diverse music and charm, including the digital singles 'Easy dance (Feat. Kwon Eun-bi)' and 'Weeds (With Jang Hye-jin)'.

Hui debuted with PENTAGON in 2016 and led the team's outstanding musicality with his self-composed songs such as "Shine," "Daisy," and "Like This." He also proved his ability as an idol hit song maker by working on "NEVER" and "Energetic."
