The June issue of DOCK Magazine will be published in print on June 6th (local time), and was released online on the official website on the 19th, the day of Rise's comeback. Various stories about 'New Generation' Rise, the first K-pop boy group to grace the print cover, are being shared, creating a buzz.
In particular, Dok noted, "Based on the solid foundation they've built since their debut, RISE is constantly growing and evolving (Bigger and Better) and opening a new phase of their career in 2025. As a team that ideally displays the free-spiritedness unique to Generation Z, the nostalgic sensibility of K-pop, and empathy, RISE is quickly approaching the position of the next-generation K-pop leader. RISE's odyssey has just begun."
In addition, regarding the title track of their first full-length album, "Fly Up," released on the 19th, he introduced it as "a song that maintains the musical atmosphere that RISE has steadily built, while also impressing with its retro sound and energetic feel." He also gave the music video favorable reviews, saying, "It is a large-scale project that invited over 30 dancers to LA, USA, and was filmed in one take, boasting an ambitious scale that matches the team's aspirations."
Also, in an interview with Dok, RISE caught attention by saying, “With our first full-length album ‘ODYSSEY,’ we wanted to show the culmination of all the experiences we’ve had so far and our hopes for the future. Since all the members are confident in this album, we want to give the listeners the courage to start their own odyssey with their own goals.”
Meanwhile, Rise will appear on KBS2's 'Music Bank', which will air this afternoon on the 23rd, and perform the title song 'Fly Up' and the track 'Bag Bad Back'.
