[talk] Rise, K-pop boy group selected as first Radar Korea artist

RISE has become the first K-pop boy group to be selected as a Spotify 'RADAR KOREA' artist.

Spotify, the world's largest audio and music streaming platform, launched the RADAR program in 2020 to select global rising artists and expand the scope of their activities within the platform, helping more listeners access their music.

Previously, Spotify discovered and highlighted artists who are currently gaining worldwide popularity, such as The Kid LAROI, Lauv, Tyla, and Lil Baby, in the early stages of their debut through the RADAR program.

In particular, RISE was the first K-pop boy group to be selected as the 2024 Spotify RADAR KOREA artist, and they plan to present various contents with Spotify, such as interactive campaigns and interviews to communicate with fans, around the time of the release of their first mini-album 'RIIZING' in June.

Starting with their debut song 'Get A Guitar' and continuing with their recently released 'Impossible', RISE has received favorable responses for their diverse 'emotional pop' and, as they are already a 'rising music powerhouse' with over 4 million monthly Spotify listeners, their continued growth through this program is highly anticipated.

Rise will appear on Mnet's 'M Countdown', which airs at 6 PM on the 25th, and perform their new song 'Impossible'.
