SK Telecom is strengthening its strategy in the global metaverse market together with K-pop stars. SK Telecom will open a new metaverse fan community, “K-POP Hotel,” where K-pop idols and global fans meet on its metaverse service “Ifland” on the 10th. It is a fan community that immersively implements each idol’s unique group concept using the 3D and XR (extended reality) characteristics of the metaverse, and is a differentiated space from existing 2D fan platforms.
