They achieved double platinum certification with their fifth regular album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY'.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced on the 10th that it had granted Seventeen the certification for selling over 500,000 copies of their latest album since its release on the 26th of last month as of May.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan grants certification based on the cumulative monthly shipment of albums and singles, and applies various grades such as 'Gold' (100,000 or more copies), 'Platinum' (250,000 or more copies), 'Double Platinum' (500,000 or more copies), and 'Triple Platinum' (750,000 or more copies).
