[All] Seventeen Seungkwan did a good deed by donating 20 million won to his hometown of Jeju
I heard that Seventeen's recently released 5th full-length album ranked 2nd on Billboard 200 this week.
I felt good, but there was more meaningful news.
Seung-kwan donated 20 million won to his hometown of Jeju. The donation was made to the National Heritage Administration and the National Trust for Cultural Heritage. The donation was used to preserve and process the Jeju 4.3 records, which are registered as UNESCO Memory of the World, so I think it is even more meaningful.
Seung-kwan is from Jeju and is also working as a Jeju promotional ambassador. Last November, through the Jeju Provincial Office
He donated to the hometown love donation fund and also donated to the protection of the southern right whale, which is an internationally endangered species.
SEVENTEEN has also been appointed as UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassadors, so it seems like they are very interested in the environment.
The album that came out recently is doing well, and I hope we can continue to hear good news about Seventeen, including news of donations.
