SEVENTEEN's Hoshi is releasing a surprise solo song.

According to Pledis Entertainment, Hoshi will release his new song 'TAKE A SHOT' through various music sites at 6 PM on the 16th.

"TAKE A SHOT" is a rage-based hip-hop track with a strong atmosphere. Hoshi's powerful and experienced rap, combined with colorful synth sounds and guitar playing, creates a heavy yet dynamic, racing sound.

Hoshi personally participated in writing the lyrics for this song, expressing his boiling passion through them. His determination and ambition as he embarks on a new chapter, marking his 10th debut anniversary, stand out. The rough sound effects, raw energy, and swagger-filled lyrics further fuel anticipation for Hoshi's future.

Starting with the second single album 'TELEPARTY' by the special unit Bu Seok Soon (Seungkwan, Dokyeom, Hoshi) this year, Hoshi X Woozi's first single album 'BEAM', and SEVENTEEN's fifth full-length album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', Hoshi has proven his wide musical spectrum. From July to August, Hoshi X Woozi held 11 fan concerts in 5 cities in Korea and abroad, attracting over 100,000 audience members.

He is also building a solid career as a solo artist. He has released various tracks on YouTube, including the mixtape "Spider" released in 2021, "I Want You Back," "STAY," "Tiger (Feat. Tiger JK)", "Tiger Power," and "Damage (HOSHI Solo) (feat. Timbaland)," which is included in SEVENTEEN's fifth full-length album.
