[talk] SEVENTEEN Wins Grand Prize at MAMA Awards for 2 Consecutive Years

The group Seventeen won the grand prize for the second consecutive year at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS', a popular music awards ceremony hosted by Mnet.

Seventeen was named the winner of the grand prize, 'Visa Artist of the Year', at the second day of the 'MAMA Awards Japan' event held in Osaka, Japan on the 23rd.

Last year, they won the 'Album of the Year' award for the first time since their debut in 2015, and this year, they were honored with the grand prize again.

Woozi said with tears in his eyes, "They say imagination is free, but for us (winning the grand prize for two consecutive years) it was something that was absolutely impossible and we couldn't even imagine it. We will live to repay you until the end. We will not change and will move forward steadfastly."

Hoshi expressed his gratitude, saying, "Last year's Daesang seemed to mean, 'You just have to not give up,' but this year's Daesang seems to mean, 'You have to move forward like Seventeen."


On this day, Seventeen also won 'Album of the Year', one of the four daesangs, for their 11th mini-album 'Seventeen's Heaven'.
