This year, as always, the title of '10 million singers' is taking on the aspect of a 'one-man show' that only Seventeen can challenge for.

With only 3 physical albums including unit albums, the estimated sales up to now are a whopping 8.3 million copies. In addition, the 4th single released in Japan has set a new 'yearly record' and is getting very close to 'exceeding 10 million cumulative copies sold per year'.

According to Oricon, Japan's representative pop music ranking chart, Seventeen's 4th single "Shohikigen" (消費期限·consumption period), released locally, topped the weekly single rankings on the 9th.

While the 'first week' sales, which refers to the sales trend for one week after release, is the standard for judging the ranking, Seventeen recorded 418,000 copies in just three days after its release. This figure corresponds to the 'highest sales' among all overseas artists who released singles in Japan this year.
