[All] Seventeen's 'Expiration Date', Japan Record Association Double Platinum... 18th overall

The group Seventeen is garnering hot attention from local fans with their fourth Japanese single.

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 10th, SEVENTEEN's 4th single "Shohikigen" (消費期限) released locally has surpassed 500,000 cumulative shipments as of November, receiving a gold disc certification of "double platinum." The Recording Industry Association of Japan awards gold disc certifications based on cumulative album shipments every month: gold (over 100,000 copies), platinum (over 250,000 copies), and double platinum (500,000 copies).

With this, SEVENTEEN now has their 18th gold disc certified album. In particular, they have truly proven their high status in Japan by receiving four certifications this year alone, following their best album '17 Is Right Here' (double platinum), special unit Jeonghan X Wonwoo's first single 'This Man' (gold), and their 12th mini album 'Spill the Feels' (platinum).
