[talk] Seventeen the City 79,000 people visited
'Seventeen The City', held in conjunction with the Japanese dome tour of the group Seventeen, recorded the highest number of visitors ever.
Pledis Entertainment announced on the 26th, "The number of unique visitors to 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] THE CITY (hereinafter referred to as SEVENTEEN THE CITY)', which started in Aichi, Japan on the 22nd of last month and was held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka for about a month, was approximately 79,000." This is the largest number of visitors to 'SEVENTEEN THE CITY' held in Japan so far. In addition to local fans, visitors from outside of Japan accounted for 12.9%.
'SEVENTEEN THE CITY' is an urban concert play park that combines SEVENTEEN's IP and local infrastructure to provide an expanded fan experience. This is the fourth 'SEVENTEEN THE CITY' held in Japan, and it has carried out over 120 programs in collaboration with 37 local companies and organizations.
First, the exterior of the Mirai Tower, a landmark of Aichi and a designated Important Cultural Property of Japan, and the Oasis 21 complex shopping mall with its large glass roof were painted in SEVENTEEN's official colors, Rose Quartz and Serenity. Additionally, for the first time in the history of SEVENTEEN THE CITY in Japan, AR (Augmented Reality) technology was introduced, allowing users to scan a QR code to bring up the image of SEVENTEEN's official character Bonbongi into reality.
At Tokyo Dome City, a large shopping mall near Tokyo Dome where the concert was held, an illumination tree was decorated with lights and bubbles to the tune of SEVENTEEN's 12th mini album track "Eyes on You," capturing the attention of the audience. In Azabu-Juban, a representative tourist destination in Tokyo where tradition and modernity coexist, flags and life-size figures with the members' faces were placed.
The collaboration with local restaurant Torikizoku, which was held in May, has been expanded even further. In 29 stores in four cities where “Seventeen the City” was held, including Osaka where the restaurant first opened, an event was held where those who shouted “Torikizoku very NICE” would receive a special coaster. Approximately 60,000 coasters were distributed during the “Seventeen the City” period, which is about a 10% increase from the previous event.
The main facilities of Fukuoka, the final destination of the tour, were transformed into 'photo zones' for CARAT (fandom name). SEVENTEEN panels were installed at Kitakushu Airport, large shopping centers, Ohashi Station, etc., and they were crowded with fans trying to take commemorative photos. In particular, SEVENTEEN's music flowed on airplanes departing from Kitakushu Airport and commemorative stickers were given to passengers, providing enjoyment not only to fans but also to general passengers.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN held 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN' at Vantelin Dome Nagoya on the 29th and 30th of last month, at Tokyo Dome on December 4th and 5th, at Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 12th and 14th and 15th, and at Fukuoka PayPay Dome on the 19th and 21st and 22nd. The tour, which consisted of a total of 10 performances, sold out all shows and attracted an audience of approximately 435,000. Some performances were also live-viewed and streamed online, giving global fans unforgettable memories.
This is really great.
