[All] Seventeen's Boo Seok Soon also participates in the national mourning period
Group Seventeen's unit Boo Seok-soon has postponed all of their comeback promotional schedules.
On the 30th, Pledis Entertainment, the agency, posted a notice on Seventeen's official channel titled 'Notice regarding the schedule for the promotion of Boo Seok-soon.'
The agency said, “We express our deepest condolences and comfort to the victims of the plane crash and their bereaved families,” and added, “The promotional schedule for Boo Seok-soon’s second single album ‘TELEPARTY,’ which was previously announced, has been changed as follows. We ask for your generous understanding,” informing fans of the changed promotional schedule.
According to the guided schedule, the concept photo 'NA' version, which was originally scheduled to be released at 6 PM on the 29th, has been changed to be released at 12 PM on the 5th. The tracklist, which was also scheduled to be released at 6 PM today (the 31st), has been changed to be released at 10 AM on the 6th.
Along with the tracklist, the highlight medley of the 'TELEPARTY' album, which was scheduled to be released at 6 PM on the 2nd, will be released together with the album, and the teaser videos will be released sequentially, with the first teaser being released at midnight on the 7th and the second teaser being released at 6 PM on the same day.
Ahead of the release of Bu Seok-soon's new album, all comeback promotion schedules have changed, but the album release date will remain the same at 6 PM on the 8th.
Previously, Boo Seok-soon had revealed her comeback promotion schedule on the 27th and was in the middle of promotions starting with the release of the 'GA' version concept photos on the 28th, but due to the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster that occurred on the 29th, all schedules were suspended or postponed due to the national mourning period until January 4th.
At approximately 9:03 AM on the 29th, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, which was landing at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province, skidded off the runway, crashed into the outer wall of a fence, and broke apart, catching fire.
The aircraft involved in the accident was Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, which was departing from Bangkok, Thailand and arriving at Muan, and was carrying 181 people, including 175 passengers and 6 crew members. After the accident, 2 people were rescued from the back of the aircraft, and all 175 passengers and 4 crew members died.
The entertainment industry is mourning the Jeju Air plane disaster, and all scheduled award ceremonies, performances, and comeback promotions are being canceled or postponed.
It's a good choice.
