'Better Half (feat. Omoinotake)' rose on the Bugs real-time chart immediately after its release at 6 PM on the 27th, reaching the top spot at 11 PM on the same day. Additionally, as of 9 AM on the 28th, the song was ranked within the iTunes 'Top Song' charts in 9 countries/regions, including Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand.
This achievement is even more noteworthy because it was achieved without any special promotion. Major domestic music sites were flooded with enthusiastic responses such as, “This song is full of Jeonghan’s sincerity toward CARAT (fandom name), so it’s precious and touching,” “A warm and emotional melody, sweet voice, and lyrics that touch the heart,” and “A sweet and comforting song gift.”
