"It's changed a lot."

Two men met at a bar. The man sitting at the table and pouring drinks was Wonwoo, and the other man, who was looking at Wonwoo pouring drinks with a complicated expression on his face, was Mingyu.

'widely-'

Wonwoo put the glass down in his hand and looked at Mingyu with a dry expression. Seeing his expression, Wonwoo sighed and returned his gaze to the glass, as if he was finally getting tired of it. Then, as he was about to drink his glass, Mingyu grabbed Wonwoo’s wrist with a rather large hand.

"Tell me something, Jeon Won-woo."

"What."

"You really have nothing to say?"

Mingyu was annoying for interrupting my time all of a sudden. Wonwoo took Mingyu's hand off his wrist and shot him in front of me. No matter what Mingyu said, Wonwoo seemed like he wouldn't say anything, so Mingyu ended up ordering. It was the same thing, you die and I die too.

Wonwoo didn't say a word or give Mingyu a glance. He sat there silently, not even ordering food, and just poured his drink. Mingyu was the one who poured all his worries. What should he do to talk? If he was a little drunk, wouldn't he open his mouth? Why did he go to a place like that? Mingyu sighed and poured his drink next to him.

Unlike Wonwoo who drank slowly, Mingyu who was burning inside was drinking faster. Despite arriving late, he was already drunk. The confidence that came from alcohol spurred Mingyu. He told him to hurry up and say something or he would miss it. Mingyu put down his glass and called Wonwoo. Wonwoo glanced at Mingyu at the voice calling him. He never turned his head.

"Why there of all places? Why that of all things."

Wonwoo didn't answer Mingyu's words. Mingyu seemed to be getting annoyed. No, it was more frustrating than annoying. Because he was the kind of person who would never open his mouth even if he died, because he was the kind of person who wouldn't answer 100 times no matter how many times you asked him. Mingyu was frustrated with himself for continuing to ask this question and with Wonwoo for continuing to not answer.

But unlike his frustrated feelings, time passed and he thought that he would not receive any answers today. Min-gyu got up from his seat, exhausted. If he stayed in this seat any longer, he might get completely drunk and say something. In the end, Min-gyu put the money next to his glass and headed out.

There was some nice music playing. But the mood of the two men was not good. Wonwoo had his head down at some point and was now glancing at the empty glass and money next to him. Then he bit his lip lightly, took his wallet out of his pocket, put the money on it, and walked along the path that Mingyu had walked. And not far away, he ran into Mingyu again.

"Min-gyu."

This time, Wonwoo called Mingyu first. His long legs stopped as they lost their strength. Mingyu looked at Wonwoo with eyes that showed no expectation, wondering what he had left to say when he wasn’t even going to answer.

"Why, what are you trying to say?"

"You know, I have to be there."

"What can't be done?"

Hyung is a good person, why did he have to do something like that-, Mingyu didn't understand Wonwoo. He knew about Wonwoo's past, but he thought it was just the past. He thought he didn't have to hang out in places like that anymore, but that was just his own thought. Mingyu had a sad expression on his face, as if he was about to cry at any moment.

"You live in a bright place."

"You too, you just need to live in a bright place."

"I feel comfortable there now."

Is it comfortable? Is it comfortable? Who in the world would be comfortable killing people? Unless there's a psychopath living in Wonwoo's head, that's nonsense. And Wonwoo is talking nonsense. The Wonwoo that Mingyu has seen so far is a psychopath who is more talented at making others happy.

When that person kept saying things like that, it felt like nails were being driven into Min-gyu's heart. He thought it would be less painful if he were to cut out his own heart with his own hands.

Wonwoo seemed to have said everything he wanted to say with those words. Mingyu had so much to say that he felt like it was going to spill out, but he swallowed his words as he saw Wonwoo’s expression become dry again. Mingyu continued to worry about Wonwoo, who was in a precarious position where if he didn’t catch him now, he would never be able to catch him again.

But I didn't know what to say or what to do for Wonwoo. In the end, I just let Wonwoo go.

It was a very dark place. The only light was a single light bulb that looked like it was going to go out soon, dust was piled up here and there, and in a corner, blood was hardening and rotting. In the middle of it all, there was a chair, and a very strong-looking man, Seungcheol, was sitting on that chair, looking over his subordinates. And between them, there was Wonwoo.

When Seungcheol spoke of a place and time, his subordinates took note. It was Seungcheol's job to kill a specific person at that time and place. Likewise, it was Wonwoo's job.

When I found you before, I thought you were always quiet-, Seungchul said while looking at Wonwoo. This did not mean that your usual behavior was noisy. He knew how to deal with people quietly. However, contrary to Seungchul’s expectations, Wonwoo always dealt with people with a dry expression as if he was hacking them to pieces. Seungchul was intrigued by Wonwoo’s unexpected methods, and it became a routine to always watch Wonwoo’s work from up close.

Wonwoo didn't answer Seungcheol's words. His only answer was a change in his facial expression. Seungcheol said, "Then that's right," and told Wonwoo the time and place. Then he patted Wonwoo on the shoulder.

"I'm looking forward to today too, Wonwoo. You can do well, right?"

Wonwoo nodded. Seungcheol left, looking satisfied, and Wonwoo immediately started preparing to handle the work.

-

Wonwoo always wore a black suit before doing any work. Because he would come back after doing a lot of killing, Wonwoo's clothes would always be covered in blood. When Wonwoo first joined this organization and started working, he would wear a bright-colored suit and Seungchul would laugh, saying that he thought it was red from the beginning because the suit turned completely red. Since then, he has never worn anything but a black suit.

In addition, since the risk of being stabbed with a gun was too great, Wonwoo only used a jackknife (for self-defense). Wonwoo thought that the better the grip and ease of use, the better, so he started working with a jackknife that was easy to use.

Today was the same. Wonwoo wore a black suit, black latex gloves, and a special jack knife. He took off his glasses that he normally wore, put on his mask, and went outside to move to the designated location.

"Here you go, Wonwoo!"

Seungcheol called Wonwoo loudly, saying that something exciting had happened. Wonwoo, as usual, naturally got into the car that Seungcheol was riding in. Since they were sitting in the backseat together, rumors were going around inside and outside the organization that Wonwoo was Seungcheol's right-hand man. However, to Seungcheol, Wonwoo was just fun. Wonwoo didn't know that fact. How could he not know, since Seungcheol was always watching him work from this car?

The black car Seungcheol rode in arrived at the designated location at the appropriate time. As Wonwoo opened the door and tried to get out, Seungcheol slapped Wonwoo on the back and smiled, saying, “Your way, cleanly. You know?” Wonwoo nodded without saying anything in return, got out of the car, and closed the door. He then hid himself in a suitable place and waited for his target to arrive.
