[talk] Minho plays the role of a rocket research developer.
SHINee's Minho Choi is expanding his field of activity with the play 'Rendez-Vous'.
Choi Min-ho has been confirmed to appear as rocket research developer Tae-seop in the play 'Rendez-vous' (written and directed by Yossef K. Junghan (Kim Jeong-han)), which tells the story of two people crushed by the weight of life who meet by chance, heal each other's wounds, and become closer, continuing his performance on the theater stage.
Choi Min-ho's character, Tae-seop, suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder due to trauma from his childhood. He gradually overcomes his fear of change that had isolated him as he becomes entangled with Ji-hee (played by Kim Ha-ri), the daughter of the owner of the Chinese restaurant where he used to order from every week, through detailed emotional acting.
In particular, this work is expected to be a hot topic as it is directed with a unique composition in which the two actors lead the play entirely for about 100 minutes without exiting on a stage with a rectangular structure reminiscent of a fashion show runway and a moving treadmill installed, allowing viewers to feel Choi Min-ho's energetic chemistry more closely.
Minho Choi challenged his first play as Val in the play 'Waiting for Godot', and received favorable reviews for perfectly portraying the character, achieving a sold-out performance.
Meanwhile, the play 'Rendezvous', where Choi Min-ho will greet the audience with a different face, is scheduled to be performed at the Jayu Small Theater of the Seoul Arts Center from April 5 to May 11.
I'm curious about acting in a play, and the role of a rocket researcher suits me well.
I heard it will be performed for about a month, so I want to see it in person.
Good luck with the performance
