[talk] I guess Taemin has a lot of worries too

SHINee Taemin confesses concerns about hiatus → Tears "Should I leave when the applause is going on?"

SHINee's Taemin shed tears as he revealed his honest feelings on the 17th anniversary of his debut.

On the 6th, a video titled "'Homecoming Runaways' Exposure Battle | Do You Know About the Exile to Imjingak (6v6)?' | Homecoming ep. 60" was released on the YouTube channel 'Jipdaesung'. On that day's broadcast, SHINee's youngest member Taemin, who recently made a comeback with their new single 'Poet I Artist', appeared and had an in-depth conversation as a second-generation idol with MC Daesung.

SHINee, who debuted in 2008, and Big Bang, who debuted in 2006. Taemin expressed his joy, saying, "We didn't talk privately, but we had a lot of intimacy," and Daesung recalled the atmosphere at the time, saying, "We've never appeared on overlapping entertainment shows. Back then, SM and YG appeared separately for no reason."

Taemin mentioned his recently completed solo world tour and said, "I felt grateful that more fans than I expected welcomed me," and "It may be reckless, but there are many times when I don't feel how much and how much I am loved. However, I felt proud through this opportunity."

Taemin then honestly confessed the worries he had as he entered his 17th year since debut. He revealed that he had been contemplating his own direction, saying, "How long can I do this? Is it right to leave when the applause starts?"

Daesung said, "Looking at our seniors, there is no singer who has been traveling the world like this for 20 years. There is no one in history. We are creating it, and it is ongoing," and conveyed comfort and support to his junior.

Taemin agreed with Daesung's words, saying, "We don't have many precedents. I think the only precedent we have is our brothers Big Bang. That's why I'm grateful," expressing his respect for Big Bang. Daesung also expressed his delight, saying, "It feels so good that our contemporary groups are performing at two Olympic Parks."

In the conversation that followed, Taemin said, "I can tell these stories because there are many good people around me. However, only those who have been active with me for a long time in the same generation can understand these stories. That's why I'm grateful that I can share these stories," and his eyes eventually turned red.

Daesung added, "Our worries might sound like the sound of a full stomach to some people. I think that's why I went to see Taeyang and Rain and had deep conversations because it's hard to find people in our profession who can empathize with us." To which Taemin replied, "In the end, the one who survives is the strong one." The two acknowledged each other as 'strong people' and shook hands firmly.
