[소통] Song Hye-kyo's return to the screen, 'The Black Nuns', to be released in January

Distributor NEW announced on the 4th that the occult film 'The Nuns' starring Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin will be released on January 24th, just before the Lunar New Year holidays next year.

'The Nuns in Black' is a sequel to 'The Priests' (2015), which attracted 5.44 million viewers, and tells the story of nuns who perform a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.

Song Hye-kyo plays the role of Sister Yunia, who prepares the ceremony by any means necessary, and Jeon Yeo-bin plays the role of Sister Michaela, who helps Yunia. Song Hye-kyo's appearance in a Korean film is her first in 10 years since "My Palpitating Life" in 2014, where she acted with Kang Dong-won.

The megaphone was held by director Kwon Hyuk-jae, who directed 'The Fixer' (2010) and 'Count' (2023).
