Park Yoochun, a former member of the group 'JYJ', revealed his current status in Japan.

On the 8th, Park Yoochun posted in Japanese on his account, “Thank you so much, teacher.”

The photo that was released together shows Park Yoochun wearing a hat. He showed off his natural bare face without any makeup, and his slightly gaunter appearance caught everyone's attention.

Meanwhile, Park Yoochun, born in 1986, made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2004 as a member of TVXQ. In 2009, Park Yoochun left SM Entertainment along with Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu to form the three-member group JYJ and continue their independent activities.

However, in 2019, Park Yoochun became the center of controversy due to drug use allegations. At the time, he held an emergency press conference and strongly asserted, "I have never used drugs. If the allegations are true, I will retire from the entertainment industry." However, the controversy grew out of control when the National Institute of Scientific Investigation's detailed analysis results detected drug substances in his body hair, and public criticism focused on him.

Eventually, he was arrested and indicted on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act, and in July of the same year, the Suwon District Court sentenced him to 10 months in prison and 2 years of probation. The court stated, "The defendant admitted all the charges and is reflecting on them, and we took into consideration the fact that this was his first offense."

After the incident, Park Yoochun officially announced that he would leave the entertainment industry for a while and stopped his activities. This was in accordance with the retirement promise he had made himself at a press conference. However, as time passed, Park Yoochun continued his activities by holding fan meetings and releasing albums overseas, including in Japan.
