[All] Kim Jaejoong X Kim Junsu, 20th Anniversary Joint Concert, More Than Just Meaning

Last weekend, KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul was a melting pot of excitement. At a joint concert held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut, singers Kim Jae-joong and Kim Jun-su filled the three-hour-long performance with TVXQ's representative songs. Fans burst into tears here and there as the two sang a medley of TVXQ's past songs, 15 years after leaving the group in 2009 amid a contract dispute. The venue was filled with passionate cheers.

Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu held a joint concert to commemorate their 20th debut anniversary, 'JX 2024 CONCERT 'IDENTITY' in Seoul' from the 8th to the 10th. This joint concert, which was a place to commemorate the two people's footsteps and herald a new leap forward, garnered hot attention from fans in and outside of Korea from the time the news of the concert was announced, and the two quickly sold out all tickets, including the additionally opened limited view seats, mobilizing a total of 30,000 viewers over three days.

Since the two left the group in 2009 and have been focusing on their solo careers, there have been few opportunities to see them sing TVXQ songs. However, TVXQ was an essential period and starting point for the two's musical careers, and so for this concert, Jaejoong Kim and Junsu Kim included many of TVXQ's representative songs in the setlist, reminiscing about memories that had been buried for 15 years.

"Since we are singing songs that we haven't sung in almost 20 years, of course we were worried about whether we could do well", but the two heated up the scene with a perfect stage that brought back memories of those days. The two's stage, which included representative Korean songs such as "Rising Sun", "Oh-Jeong-Ban-Hap", "Believe", "The Way You Are", "Jumun-Mirotic", and "Hug" as well as Japanese songs that were greatly loved at home and abroad such as "As wa Kuru Kara", "Doshitte Kimio Skinny Nattte Shimattandarou", "Begin", and "Proud", left a deep impression.
