Yaowarat, where Bangkok's Chinatown is located, has been crowded with Thai fans and foreign tourists since the 'Rockstar' music video was released on the 28th of last month.

Ruling party leader and vice chairman of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, Patongtan Shinawatra, said Lisa's music video was a "great model of soft power" and that it would be used to promote street food and other products.

The Chatchat Market said, "We would like to thank Lisa for choosing Yaowarat as a music video filming location and making it a world-famous attraction," and also announced plans to ban cars and install more traffic signals and public toilets to create a pedestrian-only area.

Lisa, who is from Buriram province in northeastern Thailand, is treated as a 'national hero' in Thailand.
