Congratulations to Jin and Hobi oppa for winning Bonsang!

ARMY, please don’t feel sad — remember that other artists had all their votes going to either their group or their soloist, while our votes were naturally split between two members. And despite that, both Jin and j-hope still shined and took home a Bonsang. That’s something to be proud of. 💜

🏆 Big wards winners (daesang) 

 

G Dragon  — Artist of the Year (Daesang), Best Male Artist, Best Dance Performance (Male Solo) with “Too Bad (feat. Anderson .Paak)”, and among Fan’s Choice Top 10 (Male) 

 

Stray Kids — Album of the Year (for KARMA) 

 

ROSÉ (and Bruno Mars) — Song of the Year for “APT.”

 

ENHYPEN— Fans’ Choice of the Year & TELASA Favorite Global Artist / Global Fan-favorite honours

 

IVE — Favorite Female Group; also bagged Global Trend Song (with “Rebel Heart”) and Favourite Global Performer honours. 

 

Aespa— Best Female Group; Best Dance Performance (Female Group) for “Whiplash”; and Best Choreography too. 

 

SEVENTEEN — Best Male Group; Best Dance Performance (Male Group) for “THUNDER” 

 

Rookies / Newcomers

 

CORTIS and Hearts2Hearts picked up Best New Artist honours.

⚠️ The Night That Was Different — More Sensitivity, More Solidarity

 

Because of the tragic fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong, just days before the event, this year’s MAMA carried a heavier mood. Organisers and artists made noticeable changes to show respect and solidarity.

•The usual red carpet was cancelled. 

 

• Several planned performances / flashy production elements were toned down or cancelled — for example a special stage (from the show K‑Pop Demon Hunters) was dropped. 

 

• Instead, the ceremony included a tribute: a moment of silence, black ribbons, and a public message “Support Hong Kong” to honour the victims. 

 

Even with that sombre backdrop — the wins, the art, the unity of fans and artists, the performances — everything felt more meaningful.
