He set a new record by staying on the chart for 88 weeks, the longest and first time for an Asian solo artist.

His first solo album, Golden, released in 23 years, is said to have been on the chart for 72 weeks, ranking 56th on the Weekly Top Albums Global Chart, the first and longest-term charting period for an Asian solo artist.
