Hive announced on the 2nd that it will donate 1 billion won to the National Heritage Administration and the Cultural Heritage National Trust. The Cultural Heritage National Trust is a special corporation under the National Heritage Administration established in 2007 to preserve, manage, and operate cultural heritage.

The donation will be used to repair and restore national heritage sites that were completely destroyed or lost in this wildfire, and to restore the surrounding environment. According to the National Heritage Administration, a total of 33 national heritage sites, including Gounsa Temple in Uiseong, a nationally designated cultural heritage site, have been damaged.

Hive said, "We express our deepest condolences and sympathy to all those affected by the wildfires. As a content company engaged in the cultural industry, we hope that this will be of some help in restoring our national heritage."

The Cultural Heritage Administration said, “We would like to thank Hive for their support in restoring the national heritage damaged by the wildfire and recovering its value. We will do our best to quickly move forward with the National Heritage Administration and the restoration procedures for the damaged national heritage so that its value can be recovered.”

Artists affiliated with HYBE, including BTS members Jungkook, who previously donated 1 billion won, and Seventeen, who donated 1 billion won, also donated large sums of money to help recover from the wildfire damage.

BTS donated 1.5 billion won, and Hive donated too

I think it's the first time I've seen something donated to the National Heritage Administration. It's good that they donated it with a specific purpose in mind.

The amount is large and the donation was made with great sense. Haha.
