[All] ‘Daehwajang Gi-anjang’ BTS Jin and his military enlistment were confirmed

The production team of 'Daehwajang Gi-an-jang', which has been a hot topic these days, told the story behind casting BTS' Jin.

PD Jeong Hyo-min said at the production conference for Netflix original 'Daehwajang Gianjang' held on the 8th in Jung-gu, Seoul, "Gian84's color is strong, but the color changes depending on the combination," and "At the same time, I had a lot of concerns because I thought he had to have his own color that was clear without being discouraged by Gian84." He expressed his concerns about casting.

'Daehwajang Gianjang' is an extraordinary new concept guesthouse variety show where Gian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun unfold their extraordinary romance with guests at Gianjang in Ulleungdo. The production team of JTBC's 'Hyori's Inn' has met with Gian84 and is foreshadowing the 'Daehwajang' synergy. The delightful chemistry that will be created by the meeting of three people with different charms, and the Gianjang family growing through trial and error are expected to be the points of interest in 'Daehwajang Gianjang'.

He continued, "Shin Ye-eun was recommended by Kian84, and Jin didn't seem to have even a tenth of his charm when he occasionally watched our own entertainment programs," adding, "I thought it would be good for both of them if we could bring out that charm through this kind of variety show."

He also expressed his gratitude, saying, "I received an offer before I was discharged from the military, and fortunately, I had seen many of Kian84's entertainment shows, and I readily agreed to appear out of curiosity about him. We were able to coordinate our music video schedules and work together."

PD Hwang Yoon-seo said, "We really paid attention to security so that no one would know that Mr. Jin was appearing," and "We made sure that when the three of them met, they had real feelings for each other. Those people who were awkward around each other became close really quickly while going through hardships together. You can see the process of them becoming siblings."

PD Lee So-min said, "He's such a superstar, I was worried and thought, 'Aren't you saying he can't do it?' But he was the one who slept the whole time without waking up," and praised him, making everyone laugh by saying, "I was really surprised. People are diverse, and I thought superstars are amazing."

'Daehwajang Gi-an-jang' will be released in 3 episodes per week for 3 weeks starting on the 8th, for a total of 9 episodes.
