A Japanese woman who gave a surprise kiss to BTS member Jin has been handed over to prosecutors.

Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced on the 8th that it had sent a Japanese woman in her 50s, identified as K, who kissed Jin, to the prosecution on charges of public indecency under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.

On June 13th of last year, the day after Jin finished his military service, Mr. K attended a fan meeting held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul and kissed Jin on the cheek by surprise. Jin's embarrassed appearance was captured on camera, and Mr. K's actions sparked a sexual harassment controversy.
