BTS has left a meaningful mark on YouTube by releasing another music video that has reached 1.5 billion views.
According to BTS's agency Big Hit Music on the 23rd, BTS's "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" music video surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube at around 5:07 p.m. that day. This is BTS's fourth music video to surpass 1.5 billion views, following "Dynamite" which is currently approaching 2 billion views, "Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)" with over 1.8 billion views, and "DNA" with over 1.6 billion views.
'MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)', released on the official HYBE Labels channel on November 24, 2017, is a song from BTS's fifth mini album 'LOVE YOURSELF 承 'Her'', remixed by world-renowned DJ Steve Aoki into the electro trap genre. At the time of its release, it entered the US Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100' at number 28 and stayed there for 10 consecutive weeks, gaining worldwide popularity.
The music video for 'MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)' is a unique and powerful sound combined with sensual and sophisticated visuals. BTS performs perfect group dance moves between an interrogation room full of microphones and an outdoor setting with flames rising, giving viewers a thrill.
