BTS RM won Favorite K-Pop Artist at the American Music Awards, an American popular music awards show.

Favorite K-pop Artist is a new category that was created in 2022 to take into account the influence of K-pop, and RM was selected as the winner, beating out fellow nominees BTS' Jimin and Stray Kids.

Blackpink's Rosé was nominated for Collaboration of the Year for her song "Apartment" with pop star Bruno Mars, but failed to win.

Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga's Die With a Smile won in this category.
