Global K-pop group BTS, whose members have all completed their military service, will release a new album and go on a world tour with all members next spring.

The seven members of BTS announced their comeback plans through a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse on the afternoon of the 1st. BTS's last full-group album and performance activities were the release of the anthology album 'Proof' and the 'Yet to Come in Busan' concert in 2022. The Weverse live broadcast that day was their first in about three years since September 2022, and lasted for about 30 minutes.

Leader RM said, “Starting in July, we’ll get together in earnest and focus on working on music,” and “Our group album is scheduled to be released next spring. We’ll be working on the album in the United States.” He continued, “Starting next spring, we’ll also be going on a world tour. We’ll be traveling all over the world, so please look forward to it.” He added, “We’ll be communicating as much as possible through [Weverse] live and social media, so if you give us just a little bit of time, we’ll show you everything right away.”

Jimin said, “Fans might think that something will come out right after we’re discharged, but we can’t prepare while in the military,” and “We have to prepare from now, so I think it’ll take some time.” He added, “We’ll prepare diligently and quickly so that you won’t have to wait long.” Jin, who is embarking on a world tour, said, “We can do it while going back and forth to many countries,” and “I’ll do it while participating as well.” Jungkook said, “This time, we’re going back to the basics.” Suga said, “I can’t predict how long it will take to prepare an album, and since it’s the first time we’ve done it this way, we’ll give it a try first.” J-Hope said, “I’m so excited.”

The members began their military service one by one, starting with Jin in December 2022, and all seven members have completed their military service with Suga's discharge on the 21st of last month. Some members are also scheduled to have individual activities in the second half of this year. J-Hope will perform at the 'Lolapalooza Berlin' music festival on July 12-13, and Jin will be holding a fan concert world tour in July-August.

I hope you can get out of Korea and have fun in the US and work on your songs with peace of mind. ARMYs can wait until next spring.

The news around the world is buzzing. I'm really looking forward to it.

I hope the road ahead is a path of flowers
