BTS' J-Hope has set the record for the most chart-topping Korean solo artist on the U.S. Billboard chart.

According to the latest chart (dated June 28) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 24th, BTS J-Hope's new song 'Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' entered the main song chart 'Hot 100' at number 40.

This is J-Hope's 8th solo entry on the chart and a new record for the most entries by a Korean solo artist. J-Hope also achieved his highest ranking on the Hot 100 for a solo artist with this song. His previous best performance was his 2023 solo single "On the Street (with J. Cole)" which peaked at No. 60.

 

 

The song is addictive, trendy, and sophisticated, just my style. It's my number one song these days. I think it'll go higher than 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
